I started my journey off at 4:30 am. Well I at least got up then. I had not slept long the night before, total hours being around 4. I had tried to tell all my friends goodbye, etc. So anyway, I was definitely on the road by 5:15ish am and it felt super nice outside since the sun had not come out yet to coat me in sweat. Thank god coffee exists because I would not have been able to make it in one day without it, especially since it was 13-14 hours away and my body was running on low fuel. I got some mickyds sausage biscuits and I was ready to go.
My favorite area of the whole excursion was the hilly part of Arkansas by Fort Smith, and Bama going into GA. Tennessee and Mississippi were not too interesting but that's probably because I was on I-40 most the way.
Sadly nothing super exciting happened except that I thought my CD player was broken, then I found out that it worked so I could stop scanning the radio.
But heres a pic of an anole that is living around our yard.
